Could spike a change in 7 Talent for Sonya guiding us to Follow Through or Healing Shout again. While not game changing this will make it feel less powerful when connecting your spear on heroes like Valla and 1 shotting them so quickly. ![]() Sonya Poison Spear DMG reduced 150% to 125%. This change will sadly send Malfurion back into the shadow realm when it comes to supports however the new talent adding Auto Damage could be good? (lol malf auto attacking yeah right) but we will have to wait and see.ģ. Honestly was a main reason in my opinion while we have seen a recent spike in Malfurion picks in competitive games because of this ability to clear waves so fast and safely. This talent became insanely powerful on Malfurion with CDR moonburn allowing for 2-3 second full waveclears on a support hero. Yet another change that will hurt in the "we can just draft our support for waveclear" column. Do I think he is a dead hero now? HECK No, still has cleanse, still has big daddy heal ult, can still duel decently, he may still have a priority pick over all other supports but lightning bond was what gave him that dmg spike in the early game and thus without it he has been tamed. The Rehgods reign is probably over after this change as our jungle/waveclear support king can no longer do these things at such a swift pace. The most significant change I saw within the patch. With all that said let's focus on some of the more important notes within this patch outside of the obvious number nerfs to essentially everything that everyone has.ġ. With that said this change can be one step in the right direction if Blizzard continues to tweak and play around with them as we have more time to explore and play within the reduced land. ![]() This is my one concern as I still believe certain damage dealers/specialist are potentially too weak to overpower the now weakened support heroes. This is a keyword they hope it will "reduce" the number of supports each team has in their game, however I never saw the keyword "increased" much elsewhere within the patch notes. The key term you will notice almost instantly when you get to the supports on that patch notes is "reduced". It is quite obvious with these changes blizzard has 1 goal in mind and that goal is to devalue the abilities of a support outside of their healing and their utility.
